My Toastmaster Life

Somehow we all are became Vice Presidents of Public Relations. Now we have to deliver. I would like to share some basic ideas which I have learnt for the past few weeks.  Resolution Matter  Many of us know what resolution means. When we come to design we have different resolutions for different material.(Resolution means No of pixels or dots you have for an inch)  If you design for Monitor or Online content its 72  If you design for Digital printing its 100  if you design for offset printing its 300 What is the Color combination ?  Different media show their colors using different methods.   Monitors show colors using red, green and blue.  Most digital and offset printers use CMYK ( Cyan Magenta Yellow Black)  so when you use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Coral draw remember to use right color scheme.  if you use cmyk to a online post it doesn't show correct brightness in the color. දම්මික පෙරේරාගේ වීඩියෝ එකක් මෑතකදී දුටුවෙමි. එය යුටියුබ් එකේ දෙරණ නාලිකාවේ පල කර තිබුනි. ඔහු ඉතා දක්ෂයෙක් බව පෙනේ. පහලින් දැමු කෙමෙන්ටද බැලුවෙමි. ඔහු ඊලඟ ජනපති කරමු කියා බොහෝ අය පළ කර ඇත. දම්මික සතුව ඇත්තේ කොම්පැනි 200ක් පමණි. ඇත්තටම එවැනි දැනුමක් ඇති අයෙක් ජනපති කරන්න බොහෝ අය කැමතියි. මේ සාවිසාල දැනුමක් කොම්පැනි 200ක් පාලනය කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය නම්, රටක් පාලනය සඳහා ඊට වඩා කොපමණ දැනුමක් අවශ්‍ය වෙයිද? රටක පුද්ගලික අංශය මෙන්ම රජ්‍ය අංශයක්ද ඇත. එසේ නම් මෙයිට වඩා කොපමණ විශාල දැනුමක් අවශ්‍ය වෙයිද? ඉතා විශාල දැනුමක් අවශ්‍යයි.   දැනුමට වඩා we need policy making. ප්‍රතිපත්ති සැකසීම අවශ්‍යයි. ඇමරිකා එකසත් ජනපදය, සිංගප්පුරුව, මැලේසියාව වගේ රටවල් දියුණු වුනේ දියුණු ප්‍රතිපත්ති තිබුණු නිසයි. අනාගතය ගැන හිතපු නිසයි. මැලේසියව 2015 දී 2025 ව්‍යපෘතිය කිය වැඩසටහනක් හදුන්වා දුන්නා. 2015 දී ඒ අය හිතලා ඉවරයි 2025දී වෙන්න යන දේ. අන්න ඒකයි රටක් පාලනය කරනවා කියන්නේ. දැනුමට වඩා අවශ්‍ය වන්නේ ක්‍රමඋපයන් හා සැලසුම් වේ. එමෙන්ම දම්මික ආර්ටිෆිෂල් ඉන්ටර්ලිජන්ස් පොඩ්ඩක් අනාගෙන ඉන්නේ. ...

It's cool to get the blogger app. It's is 1.44mb when I try to download it. So I got this thought "best apps comes small in size". It's handy app. I mainly blog about public speaking. As I said in the past article I am a member of K and J Toastmasters Club. Now I am the VPPR. It's vice president public relations. Interesting job. Yesterday I had the chance to attend a meeting about Pathways. It is the new education system introduced by the toastmasters club. Basically it widen the education methods used by toastmasters. Earlier it was leadership and communication. Now in pathways you can study 10 subjects still attached to leadership and communication but in a depths. I hope to write a second article about pathways. The New Beginning - My Toastmaster Life             Toastmaster International is a place where the leaders and speakers are made. I am a Jehovah’s Witness. We have a training School call Theocratic Ministry School. So I am been giving small bible talks since I am 8 years of age. It’s a very good training, but it was only within the circle of Jehovah’s Witness.   I want to come out and improve my skills and want to become popular. Danajaya Hettiarachchi wasn’t there and Toastmasters were not a popular thing at that time. I even didn’t know about it. I saw an advertisement on a Newspaper.
